Mäpt Gididï-zmuw covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 4790 m (15715 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1279, by Vurrei vyim Roxlendrusg. The establishment of Mäpt Gididï-zmuw was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Vurrei vyim Roxlendrusg struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Mäpt Gididï-zmuw as a prison colony.
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Gididï-zmuw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt worn bedrock streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Unfortuantly, these timber-based walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Mäpt Gididï-zmuw’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.
Civic Infrastructure

Mäpt Gididï-zmuw has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw is home to a distinct subculture, who are either the majority here or have the dominant positions in the community. Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.
In Mäpt Gididï-zmuw hail is always enormous, yet harmlessly plinks off people, creatures, and structures.
The Sylph near Mäpt Gididï-zmuw are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
Mäpt Gididï-zmuw's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Elven High Magic energies of tier 2 via mimery.
